Kevin began his career at KPMG Peat Marwick, where he spent four years in the audit group working primarily with middle market clients. He left public accounting to become Financial Officer for SC Hondros, a regional builder and contractor located in the Southeastern United States. Prior to helping found TIR, he spent ten years in positions of increasing responsibility with Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, a $50 billion real estate investment management firm where he held several key positions at both the divisional and corporate levels. These roles focused on business planning, financial reporting and performance measurement. During his tenure with the firm, Kevin served as Director of Planning and Forecasting; as Vice President of its Business Intelligence group; as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of its Investment Operations group; and finally, as Partner and Financial Officer for Lend Lease Capital Partners. Kevin is highly respected in real estate management circles for his ability to integrate strategy and functional capabilities to build and implement comprehensive financial management systems that anticipate and respond to the accounting and information needs of clients. The scope of his responsibilities at TIR also necessitates that he play a key role in building and overseeing the firm’s administrative and operational infrastructures. Kevin is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), where he earned a BS in Accounting and Finance. He also holds an MBA from the University of Georgia. Kevin is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
