Prior to joining TIR, John worked as a Tax Accountant at the accounting firm, Paul T. Hoying, in Charlotte. At the firm he was primarily focused on preparing single and multistate tax returns for businesses and individuals, researching tax laws, providing tax consultancy services, and implementing tax strategies to minimize client tax burdens and financial risks. John was also an Audit Associate with the public accounting firm, C. Dewitt Foard & Co.; a Loan Adjustor at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage; and an Operations Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He holds a Business Administration degree from the University of South Carolina.
